Bed linen ''goes unwashed for weeks at a time''

Bed linen is only changed an average of once every five weeks in the UK, a new study has revealed.
More than a third of people wait over a month before using fresh, clean bed linen, a poll from Silentnight has revealed.
In findings seen by the Sun, it also found that ten per cent of people only change their bedding once every two months, leading to serious health concerns.
Sleep expert Iftikhar Mirza commented: "Beds are a breeding zone for bacteria and dust mites because of the sweat, dead skin cells and hair we excrete each night."
He added that makeup, food and drink can also be left on the bed, therefore making the bed linen even more unhygienic.
Research carried out by the University of Warwick and Federico II University Medical School in Naples recently showed that people who get better-quality sleep tend to have a longer lifespan than those who do not.
