People looking for new memory foam mattresses and beds have been given some tips on getting the perfect product from someone who should know - Premier Inn''s official bed tester.
Although her official title is product manager, much of this lady''s time is spent trying out the hotel chain''s bedsteads and pillows by bouncing on them, lying down to check the mattress has no dips and sampling the linen, the Financial Times reports.
The biggest challenge, she added, is to find a bed that everyone will find comfortable enough to sleep on - for which task she enlists the help of one of her "burly male colleagues".
"I lie on one side of the mattress and he lies on the other. If we drop off to sleep, the bed is clearly a winner," the newspaper reports the expert as saying.
Premier Inn has more than 580 hotels throughout the UK and Ireland.
