Going green in the home is ''easily achievable''

Want to make your bedroom and home much more user-friendly? Create some designs in the boudoir to this effect with ease, says one expert.
People certainly do not have to compromise on style if they are trying to be eco-conscious in the home, according to an expert in interior design.
Tips from Linda Woodrum, a designer of the HGTV Green Home 2010, were offered on Napsnet that could allow the bedroom and beyond to become much more energy efficient as well as visually appealing.
The use of reclaimed woods as bedroom furniture or more was underlined as a great thing, with the expert stating: "Reduce, reuse, recycle.
"Unique pieces, such as a dining room table made from reclaimed wood and a light fixture made from a repurposed basket, make a room richer and more interesting."
Additionally, Ms Woodrum asserted that people must create a mood for their master bedroom, building a setting through a choice of colour and decor though ensuring that it is kept clean and natural with organic and recycled materials.
Aisha Sultan recently told the St Louis Post-Dispatch that the likes of wardrobes and bed frames could really benefit from the use of reclaimed wood.
