Good decorating ''needs great lighting''

Want to make your bedroom look the business? It''s probably best you make some serious considerations about lighting before jumping right into it, according to a new report.
In the Kane County Chronicle, Shirley Nichol and Nancy Reinke explained that while real estate experts say the most important thing in housing is "location, location, location", interior designers say it is "lighting, lighting, lighting" and is "one of the most overlooked areas in the average home".
The pair said that a good lighting plan is necessary in a design plan, even if it''s making simple updates to the spaces around the bed.
A well-designed room will use all three types of lighting, they added: general, which illuminates an entire space; task, where bright lights are used to focus brightness on particular areas for certain activities; and accent, which gives the spotlight to decorative objects and enhances mood.
Lighting is starting to skew in favour of LED options, which are energy-saving and particularly popular in helping people keep more money in the long run.
