Closets are ''very important'' in bedroom decor

Getting hold of the right closet, whether it is free-standing or built-in, will allow for a more clutter-free bedroom, according to a style expert.
In a piece for the Daily Monitor, Beatrice Wanja argued that regardless of the bed, wardrobes are possibly the most personal thing in a bedroom and can turn the room into a stylish, not boring, space, although it must blend with the decor.
Lydia Wamito, an interior designer speaking to the paper, said that a "drab, bulky, and ancient wardrobe" can harm the feel of a boudoir, regardless of how elegant or stylish it may be.
She continued: "Thus, choosing the right kind of wardrobe for your bedroom should be pretty high on your list, right there with the walls, flooring and of course, the bed."
In a recent piece for Associated Press, it was asserted that pillows are a good way of adding instant colour to a bedroom, though colour-keyed accessories such as throws and lamps can also improve the feel of the space.
