Bedrooms may want to embrace ''home decor must-haves''

People must embrace a number of items and design pointers if they are to have a stylish home this spring, according to a leading design expert.
Tara Dalla-Nora, in a special piece for interior decor experts at Yourhome.ca, said that everyone should look for a fresh, floral print with a graphic element this spring in the bedroom, specifically for pillows.
She argued that a graphic print and neutral colour palette can allow for a contemporary and gender-neutral feel, adding: "It is also more versatile, and can be paired with bolder colours and patterns in a living room or toned down for a softer look in the bedroom."
In terms of other furniture to complement the bed, Yourhome.ca also recommended the use of white chairs with a retro look to give a clean and attractive look to the boudoir.
People from the north-east of England were recently identified as having the dirtiest bedding, with 69 per cent of respondents to a recent survey by Sound Asleep admitting to buying new pillows and duvets every ten years and rarely flipping their mattresses.
