Romantic bedroom ''is not difficult to create''
15/03/2010
People will have no problem in converting their bedroom into a romantic sanctuary for themselves and their partner with a little forethought, it has been underlined.
Syndicated columnist Mi-Ling Stone Poole of the McClatchy-Tribune responded to an email asking for advice on the situation, with the expert first emphasising how a few candles incorporated into a space can work well, as the scent of vanilla is "commonly thought to be seductive", though heavy floral scents should be avoided.
The bed must be layered with luxury, she continued, though "an abundance of pillows" is best avoided and instead, using a soft and cosy throw will make things much more relaxing.
Finally, Mi-Ling Stone accentuated the importance of lighting, explaining that a dimmer switch delivers "instant ambience".
Earlier in the month, Ideal Home, one of Britain''s major interior design magazines, said that the bedroom ought to have a new look for spring that will reinvigorate the home and that using bedding with simple shapes and soft colours is the best way to do it.
