Beds need upgrade in ''variety of situations''

Sometimes, people just need to admit that they need a new bed, otherwise they may be struggling on a number of fronts - not least health.
Dr Miriam Stoppard, the veteran health expert with the Daily Mirror, explained that it is especially important given that people spend a third of their lives in their beds.
She asserted: "Research shows that an uncomfortable bed can take an hour off our sleep every night as well as contributing to long-term problems like backache and neck pain."
An upgrade may be needed for a number of reasons, Dr Miriam continued, explaining that if it''s at least seven years old and a person is not sleeping as well as they want to but do not know why, it must be addressed.
If a person is waking up often or getting aches and pains in the night, or their bedstead is wobbly and in poor repair, it must also be addressed; the same goes if the mattress feels lumpy, the bed creaks or it sags in the middle.
Terry Wogan seems to be getting the most out of his time off these days, with the presenter recently revealing that he spends most of his mornings under the covers and watching TV.
