Beautiful bedding is ''best boost'' for spring
08/03/2010
Should people want to get the most out of their bedroom this spring, they must consider just how much of an impact could be made from new bed linen in the space, according to a new report.
Ideal Home, Britain''s leading interior design magazine, explained that if a person loves feminine floral patterns and the bedroom needs a new look for spring that will reinvigorate the home, then nice bed linen with simple shapes and soft colours is the perfect thing to update things.
It argued that whether or not a coordinated look with a matching duvet and pillows is preferred, by mixing and matching the look with plain shades for a "simple, more pared down approach, the colour palette of soft duck-egg blues and greens is bang on trend this season".
Anything with a 300 thread count or above is capable of standing "plenty of wear and tear", it added.
Last week, Brian Patrick Flynn of decordemon.com told the Associated Press that white is a colour that designers use to modernise bedrooms and make the beds look more clean and up-to-date.
