Experts give advice for National Bed Month
02/03/2010
National Bed Month is now upon us and people are being advised by an expert to do all they can to embrace this March and get the most out of their bed and mattress.
Crampex, specialists in night cramp problems, is doing all that it can to prove that people can make small adjustments to their regime to improve their health.
It follows research from the company that found three out of four people are waking up every morning still feeling exhausted, with 46 per cent typically getting six hours of sleep a night or less and a further 18 per cent getting under five hours.
Crampex said that people must buy the biggest and best bed they can, as a person can spend 25 years of their life in bed, so it should be totally comfortable.
It added: "Make your bedroom a haven of tranquillity - make sure you have a good bed, use soft lighting, keep the room clear of clutter, keep your bedroom well ventilated and use an air freshener to give it a pleasant and relaxing smell."
A recent report for the Daily Telegraph highlighted how a person buying a new mattress or bed should always opt for the best quality they can afford as it can last a long time and improve health hugely.
