Bedroom decor could become focus of lucky cleaner
01/03/2010
A cleaner has found herself in the right place at the right time, being handed an extra four beds as part of a new home which she was given by her former employers - the winners of the recent Euromillions draw.
Nigel Page and Justine Laycock became Britain''s biggest lottery winners last month and vowed to look after family and friends with the money they won - no less than £56 million.
Last week, they did exactly that, deciding that their loyal cleaner Denise Kelso was deserving of a place to stay, so furnished her with their old house and car while they trotted off to find somewhere else to live with their megabucks.
Four beds will be part of the free deal at the £400,000 home after the couple relocated to their new £4 million eco-friendly mansion nearby in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. They also threw in their £19,000 Honda Civic.
The Euromillions once only applied to the UK, France and Spain, though soon included lotteries from Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland during 2004.
