Bedding is ''top priority'' for university purchases

When preparing for university or refreshing for a new term, there''s perhaps nothing more important to buy than fresh bed linen, according to a new report.
Writing for Helium, interior expert Theresa Rose asserted that despite people needing quite a few things for a comfortable stay at their chosen institute, they will still always need bed linen as a matter of course and options should be considered.
She explained: "If at all possible, try to find out as much as possible about the bed and other furniture you will have in your dorm room.
"Arming yourself with this information can help you make the best and most economically sound decision about the bedding you do choose."
Ms Rose said that the bed-in-a-bag approach is a "great" way to buy a matched set of items for the mattress at a modest price, while a reversible quilt is a nice thing to have as a heavy enough can provide extra warmth in winter and can double up as a bedspread.
In terms of bedding developments in recent weeks, House of Bath announced the release of the Partner Duvet, which uses split his-and-hers togs to allow both parties sound sleep at a temperature that suits the pair.
