Bed linen ''ought to be white and suitable for mattress''
04/02/2010
When buying bed linen, people must take into account a wide array of issues, it has been explained.
Speaking to the Bulletin, Bend interior designer Martha Murray asserted that the size of a person''s sheets should not just pay attention to whether a bed simply has a king or queen mattress but also how deep it is, especially if it has fitted-bottom sheets.
In regards to the colour of the offerings, it was added that she also prefers basic white or off-white.
Ms Murray added that she thinks that "personality is in whatever''s covering the bed", continuing by recommending that if people opt for colour, pigments are known to make the fibres in bed sheets much stiffer, in turn favouring lighter hues if comfort is top priority.
Earlier this week, the Deutsche Presse-Agentur recommended that people wash their bed linen every one to two weeks and clothing every three to four days in order to avoid a pollen build-up, leading to early hay fever symptoms.
