Mattresses ''must be test-driven''
11/01/2010
If a mattress is to be chosen well, a few protocols must be followed first, according to a new report.
Speaking to the Grand Rapids Press, Ron Zagel, the president of Jonathan Stevens Mattress Co, offered plenty of tips to the bed buyer as to what they should look for when investing in a mattress.
He said that people must consider comfort, quality then price by prioritising a mattress that is comfortable before deciding how much that is worth, while comfortable clothing should also be worn for trying mattresses.
Test-driving at least two mattresses in the range is also a great way to learn more about the difference in firmness and removing jackets or jumpers that could affect the feeling of a mattress is also recommended.
The minimum amount of time a person should relax on a mattress is seven to ten minutes, as this helps gauge how it feels over time, he concluded.
McRoskey Mattress recently stated that mattresses play a major part in the continued healthiness of people everywhere.
