Ever been stuck in an airport where only uncomfortable metal benches are there to help you drift off to poor sleep? Fear no longer about your quality of rest - the Russians are here to help.
That''s because architects with the Arch Group have developed the so-called Sleep Box, which it aims to make a regular fixture in terminals around the world for sleepy travellers to get rest in during the evening.
Looking similar to a white desktop computer''s tower, people will be able to rent the facility for between 15 minutes and several hours and uses soundproofing to keep the noises of the airport out.
Bed sheets are automatically changed via the winding of one roller to another akin to a conveyor belt, while each Sleep Box comes equipped with an LCD display, Wi-Fi access, luggage space and loads of power outlets for charging laptops and mobile phones.
It certainly beats the vertical bed developed by Substitute Materials which is portable and allows commuters to fall asleep in the middle of the street, providing they don''t mind the idea of getting mugged during their rest.
