As part of its bid for world domination, Blue Peter has decided to smash a world record with the aid of 100 people and the same number of mattresses.
Live from BBC Television Centre in London, the long-running programme worked with the Guinness Book of Records to substitute dominoes for mattresses to create the longest human rally of its kind in history.
BBC News presenter Tim Willcox, weather girl Laura Tobin and Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton were all part of the crew involved in the stunt, which started in the courtyard of the White City location, circling around the fountain and then flowing in through the front door.
All 100 human mattress dominoes fell without difficulty, smashing the unofficial record set by Bensons for Beds earlier this year, when a comparably measly 41 mattresses fell in their warehouse.
Blue Peter has now been going for well over 50 years, with the series starting in October 1958.
