Are you a parent with children unable to keep their bedroom tidy? Fear no longer - design firm IDP may have the answer to all of your problems.
The Scotsman revealed that the organisation will be heading to the Homes & Interiors Scotland Exhibition at the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre in Glasgow next weekend to show the range of things it has developed to put an end to cluttered beds and floors.
Gilly Corkery of IDP explained that everything is tailored so all assets of a young one can have their own place, with specially-designed CD racks, compartments for stereos and spaces for games consoles all having a place - though it gets much more complex.
She said: "No self-respecting teenager wants to move for too long so we''ve designed a desk chair which has a pocket where they can keep a remote control, their iPod, pens, chocolate or whatever, without having to move.
"Then there''s the upholstery fabric on the walls, which means they can put posters up with drawing pins without leaving a mark."
It may not be quite the major makeover that heuhotels in Germany, Austria and Switzerland offer guests, however, with CNN recently looking into the back-to-basics accommodators which use hay for beds.
