Clever couple chainsaw mattress

Most people would consider sharing most things when they don''t need to have all of it to themselves, such as food.
However, Sheldon Jaffie and his wife decided to share a mattress they inherited with their daughter - by taking a small chainsaw to the bed, the Morning Call reported.
Luckily, the mattress wasn''t the usual offering - it was made from memory foam, meaning there were no springs to navigate through.
Commenting on the money-saving strategy, Mr Jaffie told the newspaper: ''I took my Craftsman reciprocal saw and I cut the mattress in half, making two singles.
''I just cut it right in half. My wife''s daughter got one half and we got the other half. We''ll put it in our basement like a sofa bed.''
Last month, memory foam was applied in one of the strangest ways possible - in battery form, allowing the case to be stretched and squished to fit into anything between sizes AAA and D.
