For just $50 (£30), people can now stay overnight at one of eastern Missouri''s premier hotspots - the jail of the Jefferson County Sheriff''s Department.
Those wanting to bed down behind bars are being offered the deal of a lifetime by the division, which is hoping to use the proceeds of the campaign to pay for new mattresses for inmates at the facility.
On July 31st, Jefferson County will be giving the tour of the jail for interested parties before giving them a bed, with couples also accommodated for an extra £25.
For their crimes, they''ll also receive Jefferson County "bed and breakfast" t-shirts and souvenir mug shots to fondly remember their time spent serving time.
There were criminal connotations to a recent situation involving mattresses in Orlando, Florida after a rogue caller got in touch with Hilton Garden Inn guests to tell them that a gas leak necessitated their hasty exit from a nearby window, though the hotel''s manager stopped the panic before the family made the two-storey jump.
