Caravan mattresses are in ''sorry state''

Summer is approaching and for many people that means one thing: a caravan trip to celebrate the weather.
However, most caravans and other bed-carrying vehicles tend to have a problem, one writer believes: each one is "equipped with those sorry mattresses".
Lavonda Pflug, a writer for the Examiner, explained that to be "healthy, happy campers", individuals need to look into getting a new mattress as otherwise sagging and lumpy surfaces could fail to support a person''s back and spine.
Memory foam is one material recommended by the expert, who said that those with the money to spend would be doing themselves justice by investing in the adjustable material.
However, people not wanting to buy an expensive mattress can look at solid cheaper options, Ms Pflug added, with mattress toppers a good investment for comfort.
Should anyone be wanting to take a caravan holiday any time soon, the Ministry of Defence will have you covered - that is, of course, if you can get hold of one of their rocket-proof mattresses, which were released last month, according to the Times.
