By investing in the wrong furniture, a person will struggle to use the energy their room provides to get the best quality of sleep available to them, according to an interior design expert.
Martha Phifer of Home Base told the Orlando Sentinel that a range of methods to make one''s bedroom more comfortable have begun to emerge, with the mattress being a particular culprit in terms of energy woes.
She explained that an investment in a "quality mattress", which helps to align the spine, is a huge benefit to anyone, as it will eliminate both back pain and any broken sleep caused by tossing and turning during the night.
As an extension to this, people may want to consider also getting organic cotton bedsheets, Ms Phifer added, noting that given the lack of pesticides and fertilisers used during growing, there is a better chance that they will soothe the skin.
This week, the Economic Times extolled the virtues of Egyptian cotton, stating that its understated elegance is able to deliver a wonderful sleeping experience.
