People who use feng shui in their bedroom may be creating a fantastic sleeping environment for themselves and their partners, it has been said.
Becca Campbell, a marriage advice expert writing for the Examiner, explained that feng shui - the Chinese system of aesthetics aimed at improving a person at their very core - could help people improve communication, energy flow and any other problems.
She noted that mattresses can hold a lot of "stagnant energy" and as a result, old ones should be disposed of as a matter of urgency should a person follow the feng shui way, though any mattress over ten years old needs to go anyway as a matter of health.
Ms Campbell added that by putting the bed in the back-right of a room in relation to the entrance, people will also have the best focus of energy in the bedroom for sleep, with pink bed linen enhancing the "receptivity" of love and marriage.
According to Rodika Tchi, an expert in feng shui dispensing advice for About.com, the use of flowers as symbols in feng shui is extremely prevalent as they show "beauty, grace and a delicate, alive sensuality".
