Good night''s sleep down to ''perfect pillow''
02/10/2008
A range of pillow types have been addressed by a health and wellbeing website in order to provide information to those unsure of which may be perfect for them.
It was noted that three things were important - sleeping position in bed, texture and shoulder breadth - and all needed to be addressed when choosing the material.
Speaking to the Reader''s Digest of Australia, Dr Simon Floreani of the country''s Chiropractors'' Association said: "At the end of the day, it doesn''t matter what the experts suggest you are going to be the one lying on it.
"Keep trying different types until you find one you are completely happy with."
Polyester was noted as a cheap and easy option that provided "medium support at best", with latex and memory foam praised for their longevity and dust mite-resistance - providing a person wants to invest.
Australia''s Choice.com also offered a buying guide for pillows, noting that memory foam and latex could also be moulded into any shape the user desired.
