New mattress 'gives beds a boost'

People looking to give their bed a boost can improve their sleeping space with the help of a new mattress.
Writing for online resource My Design Secrets, an unnamed writer asserts that the mattress is the "hardest working furnishing in the house" and as such it is essential a comfortable one is purchased.
However, a mattress topper can give the bed some extra life while you search or save up for the perfect mattress, adds the commentator.
Meanwhile, online news provider Room Planners asserts that no one need suffer sleepless nights due to their mattress as there is such a variety available on the market.
Citing statistics from a Furniture Today survey of retailers, the resource notes that in the US people are increasingly opting for new mattress technologies, with memory foam mattresses accounting for 15 per cent of sales at speciality bedding stores and latex foam mattresses accounting for eight per cent.
Innerspring mattresses are still the most popular form of sleeping surface, with 59 per cent of those consumers visiting bedding specialists opting for them.
