Your Questions

I have one of your mattresses but I can't tell which type.  I want to buy the same again the same it is very difficult to order now.  I can only find a paper tag on my current mattress.

Reply from our Silentnight Expert:

All our mattresses have a label stitched on top of the mattress at one end.  This not only has the company name on it but will also have the model / product name.   Perhaps if you could send a photograph to our customer service department someone may be able to identify the mattress from the material on it and the stitch pattern.

However, I suspect that you may have had your mattress some considerable time, in which case we will have changed many aspects of bed manufacture since then and it will be unlikely that we have an equivalent product in our range today.

Our main recommendation to you would be that you visit a couple of your nearest bed retailers and start to try different beds for yourself and see what you like.  There is no substitute to trying before you buy and selecting the right one for you. If you share your bed with a partner it is important that you try the bed together to ensure you are both comfortable and supported.  Don’t just sit on the edge and bounce up and down, actually lay down and stay there for ten minutes or more.  Do not be embarrassed about lying on the beds in the showroom – that is what they are there for!

Remember that taking the time to try a new bed is a 10-minute investment to ensure you get many years of comfortable sleep. Most retailers will not exchange a bed if it proves not to be comfortable, so it’s very important to get it right first time.
