I bought a mattress topper (latex) for my elderly mothers bed, but there is a dreadful "chemical type" smell coming from it. I have aired it now for 2 weeks inside and outside in the fresh air but it still smells and smells worse when on the bed. She has a new electric overblanket which she uses and the smell is overpowering I wondered if you could please advise
