Your Questions

I would like to know why your beds are the best.

I recently bought a Silentnight bed after sleeping on an inferior one which was bought by a relative, I have had a bad back for nearly 2 years and couldn't stand it any longer.

After one night on your bed I woke up and felt as if someone had given me a new back , it was amazing, no aches, no pains, and I leapt out of bed.

Well done.

At the heart of all our beds is the unique Miracoil spring.  Each row of Miracoil springs is made from a continuous coil of wire to distribute weight more effectively.  The unique “figure of eight” Miracoil springs give extra surface coverage and therefore, more support.  Each Miracoil mattress gives you and your partner the support you need, despite differences in size and weight.  A Miracoil mattress contains twice as many springs as an ordinary mattress.  The springs are concentrated in the centre third of the bed to give support where it is needed most.  The more weight applied, the more the springs respond providing progressive support.

At Silentnight we understand that your bed doesn't just shape how you sleep, it affects how you feel when you're awake too.  A good night's sleep isn't just about getting to sleep or staying asleep.  It's the quality of what happens to your body while you're asleep that makes all the difference to how you feel the next day. People sleep in lots of different ways so if there's no such thing as a standard night's sleep, then there's no such thing as a standard bed.  So we've worked with scientists, doctors and universities to develop beds that are as individual as you are.  Beds that are scientifically proved to work hard while you're asleep, whatever type of sleeper you are.
