Your Questions

01 April 2010 by Mrs Janet Richardson

I have a couple of beds that require headboards, (which I see you manufacture) and each of them have no fixings for a headboard, (lost in transit), are these items one standard fitting, or are there several, and will I be able to purchase these from somewhere?

Reply from our Silentnight Expert:

Our beds have a pre-cut hole for each headboard bolt.  The headboard has two struts which are positioned the same distance apart as the pre-cut holes in the bed.  Once the headboard bolts have been fastened into the holes the headboard is then lowered into position and secured by tightening the bolts.

If your bed has any other means of securing a headboard or if the holes/bolts are in a different position then our headboards would not fit.  Each headboard comes with its own bolts for fixing.
