Your Questions

How may I get my wife's electric blanket sealed power cable conection (including three pin 13 A plug, contoller-model TT-AA Made in China 662209 volt 220 - 240 ~ Watt 60 and 4 pin female plug to blanket conection - all conections sealed to power cable)?

The existing heavily sheathed cable has failed, whilst in use, at the sealed junction to the blanket conection (4 pin) plug, due to an electrical short within the cable burning out the two electrical conducting wires and burning through the sheath. She was indeed fortunate not to have experienced a subsequent fire.

We have the damaged item. Should you wish to examine please make arrangments for it to be forwarded.

We would be grateful to be directed us as to how we may obtain a replacement.

Reply from our Silentnight Expert:

Customer complaints are taken very seriously, Comfy Quilts, who produce the electric blankets under licence, have the facilities to test them in the UK – can you please forward your electric blanket to the following member of their team and they will conduct tests ASAP.  Please remember to include your name and address.
