I recently purchased a Miratex (well I think it's that) Silentnight memory foam mattress.
My husband has always been quite "sweaty" at night but it would seem since getting this mattress it has become so much worse. The mattress now has a bad sweat odour smell just on his side and I would like to wash it... can I do this some how?
I have today purchased a waterproof protector but would like to remove the odour before I use it. Any cleaning hints and tips please.

Memory foam is a good insulator and some people do find the sleep experience very warm.
You cannot remove the cover to wash it, nor do we recommend cleaning the product with any type of detergent. Instead we would recommend that at the next opportunity you air the bed by removing all the covers and opening the bedroom windows for as long as possible.
Using good quality cotton bedding may also help keep your husband cooler.
