I wonder if you can help me. At present I have a Silentnight miracoil mattress and would now like to purchase another one, but I am unsure which to get. There is a vast weight differance between myself and my partner so we need a no roll together mattress (which is why we got a miracoil) we would like as firm a mattress as possible in a double size. You have so many differant kinds that we are at a loss.

We would recommend our Miracoil 7 Pocket range for anyone who is particularly heavy or likes a firmer bed, but still wants luxurious comfort. Our mini pocket springs are one thrid of the size of normal ones, so they can be used with the main Miracoil spring system to create a unique combination of durabilty and comfort.
Our best suggestion to you would be to visit your local bed retailer and try some of the Miracoil 7 Pocket products for yourself. Only you can decided which will be best. Make sure you try the bed together, for at least 10mins. Don't be embarrased by this, that is why our shop floor models are there.
The mattress is the heart of your bed and the part of the purchase you should spend most time and money on. The secret of having a good night’s sleep is the mattress and bed base you choose. Always remember that a ‘bed’ is a mattress and a base working together, you should not consider them in isolation and should ideally always try them together. We always recommend you buy them together because the two are designed and manufactured to compliment one another in terms of support. Your mattress may show visible signs of wear and tear but the base will have had equal pressure and strain – it just doesn’t show quite so clearly. Another point to watch is making sure the dimensions of any base and mattress separately sourced are compatible; two kings might not be quite the same size!
Putting a new mattress on a base for which it was not intended or putting a new mattress on an old base can impede comfort and reduce the useful life of the mattress.
